This refers to speech by Secretary of State Marco Rubio at Munich Security Conference 2026 (MSC 2026) as given at https://www.state.gov/releases/office-of-the-spokesperson/2026/02/secretary-of-state-marco-rubio-at-the-munich-security-conference which is naivette, oversimplified and is full of misplaced hope not merely because it overlooks the other civilizations & powers of the world as discussed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGqXvKmCM1o but mainly because it is based on false premises and neglects the indigenous potential of the Americans (the people of the USA who matter in any any democracy including in the USA) as explained belo
(1)- This speech of Secretary Rubio at MCC 2026 is nothing but an exercise in reconciliation by the USA with remaining powerful countries of Western Civilization (Mainly powerful countries of NATO ) to mend the strained relations of the USA with these European countries since second term of TRump administration [which have strained on the issues of - Prez Trump calling Canada as 51st State of the USA, take-over of a NATO country Greenland by the USA even militarily if necessary, ceasefire in Ukraine war by compromising territorial integrity of UKraine and no peace guarantee for EUrope in future from Russia , Gaza peace plan including making Gaza a Riviera , taking out Venezuelan President and his wife militarily in violation of established international laws regarding sovereignty of UN Member countries, Board of Peace initiative of Prez TRump practically as an alternative to the UN which is not supported by remaining NATO Countries etc etc].
(2)- Trump administration has realized that it is not the world of 1945 when the USA could easily sponsor the United Nations (with its head office on the soil of the USA at New York) by roping in important countries of Western cIvilization / Europe and by giving them veto power in UNSC which resulted in the functioning ( howsoever defective it might be) of the new global order of the UN but in contemporary world many other power centres have emerged especially China and in BRICS which the USA is finding difficult to take-on singlehandedly hence the USA needs the support of its traditional allies from Europe / NATO to face the new challenges which are seriously threatening the status of the USA as the predominant superpower of the World.
(3)- But Secretary Rubio is desperately trying to reconcile with NATO Countries of Europe without understanding the reasons which destroyed the global order of the UN which was mainly run by Western civilization. On the contrary Trump administration ought to understand that the global order of the UN collapsed in 2022 (due to UKraine war) within 77 years of its launching in 1945 because the following strengths of the Western civilization namely - (i) Democracy (ii)- Secularism (iii)- Capitalism (iv)- Human rights friendly Christian values of love - were violated (as explained below) by these countries of Western civilization which were running the UN:-
DEMOCRACY ;- Though Secular democracy is the powerful ideology of contemporary world but the Western civilization never bothered about it in the global order of the UN that is why (i)- Veto power was given in UNSC To even authoritarian / communist countries the USSR & China (ii)- Western countries tried to bring democracy half heartedly in Arab Muslim world through ineffective “Arab Spring’ which failed as was expected rather designed and (ii)- The UN Recognized the government / State of the member countries and was never bothered about its people though in any democracy it is the people who mainly matter and not so much their governments. That is the reason the UN didn’t help the victims by way of timely relief in case of Sikhs at Delhi in 1984, in case of Kashmiri Pandits at Kashmir valley in late 80s & 90s, in case of Muslims at Gujarat in 2002, in case of Manipur in 2023-25. Etc.
SECULARISM;- No other example of ditching of Secularism by Western civilization is more glaring than the case of Musilm Palestinians and Israel (a nation State of Jewish people practicing Judaism) where Palestinians were expelled from their native land by brute force supported rather provided by Western countries led by the USA and where the USA sometimes talk about absurd and unjust ‘two State solution’ and doesn’t talk about ‘One State solution’ which is commensurate with ‘right to Return’ as mentioned at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4534 .
CAPITALISM:- The confusion of the USA / Western Civilization is ultimate on the issue of capitalism because (i)- it considers only private capital as capital and not the State / Sovereign capital as capital hence it doesn;t want to use State / sovereign capital in the interest of Welfare State to protect the six basic needs of the people namely food, clothes, shelter, education, health care and most importantly safety / security (ii)- THE USA has failed to make the US-Dollar the official currency of every country with its central bank on the soil of the USA and its branch offices in every UN Member country because other countries didn’t accept it so as US-Dollar is not with proper asset back-up of mainly the precious metals.
HUMAN RIGHTS FRIENDLY CHRISTIAN VALUES :- These human rights values were never given any importance by Western countries led by the USA Which were running the UN as I have mentioned above in the heading of Democracy but the USA confined itself only to periodic reports by USCIRF About communal harassment of religious minorities in India (the largest Secular Democracy of the World) but never bothered about treatment of majority of Hindus (the predominant religious community of INdia with 145 Crore population) who are treated as second class citizens under caste system of Hinduism which is institutionalized through the system / bribery of reservation in govt jobs and in elected bodies of Indian State.
(4)- But the above mentioned lack of integrity on the part of Western countries led by the USA towards the basic values of Western civilization is not that harmful to the Western World as is another deficiency in the Formulation of Secretary Rubio at MSC 2026. Trump admin / Secretary Rubio don’t understand that unless the indigenous potential is used and unless the real power namely the people of the USA (who are the ultimate sovereign in democracy) take interest in restoring the leadership of free world to the USA mere support of or alliance with powerless European countries whom Secretary Rubio was trying to cajole / exhort at MSC 2026 wouldn’t bring the desert result.
(5)- No doubt it is not as simple as said. Any Religion is the custodian of the values of its society and the religion of the majority of Americans the US-Cristinity is not taking interest in helping the US-administration in launching a “New Rule Based Global order of Secular Democracy” as mentioned at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4461 therefore the Trump- admin can mobile some other religion which is being practised by the people in the USA. It can be my religion Jainism.
(6)- Some may erroneously say that Jains are merely about one hundred thousand in the 330 million population of the USA hence politically insignificant therefore what they can do in this matter. But people should understand that though Jains in the USA are very less in number but their organization like JAINA -USA (or any other national level organization of Jains in the USA) can mobilize Jains in India to bring India under the political influence (without much difficulty) of Jainism (which is a State based religion) which would convert India into a “Federation of Greater India (the so-called ‘Akhand Bharat’ of over 2 billion people) having about 20 neighboring countries of Asia in it (including 9 Muslim Majority countries including Iran) as mentioned at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4724 . This ‘Akhand Bharat’ would help the USA immensely in launching and running the said long rather ever lasting new rule based global order.
(7)- Last but not the least the USA need not eternally consider itself as a child of Europe (as Secretary Rubio said at MSC 2026) especially when in the USA people and the descendants of the people from non European countries of Asia, Africa, Latin / South & Central Americas etc [including 30 million illegal immigrants as per V.P. J.D. Vance and Secretary Rubio as said by them at https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/jd-vance-wildly-claims-there-are-30-million-undocumented-immigrants-in-the-us/ar-AA1Qqdq5 and https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2024/jun/11/marco-rubio/there-arent-20-million-to-30-million-immigrants-in/ and who are not to be sent back to their native countries because Prez TRump, V.P. Vance and Secretary Rubio talked about them during the election campaign merely for securing votes and they have no intention or administrative capabilities (the way they bungled about I.C.E. (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) In my State of Minnesota where I.C.E. Killed US citizens and Native Americans were detained / required to prove that the USA is their country as reported at https://abcnews.com/US/anti-ice-protests-place-nationwide-fatal-shootings-minneapolis/story?id=129670048 and https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2026/01/14/native-americans-detained-ice-trump-minnesota/88164562007/ ) of sending them back to their native countries] are almost equal if not more than the European origin people.
Therefore it is hoped the Trump -administration / Secretary Rubio instead of talking in the air would realize the ground realities and would mobilize the Jains / Jainism in the USA to help them in launching the new rule based global order (starting from India rather Greater India the ‘Akhand Bharat’) which would be the true representative / embodiment of the modern and progressive values of the Western Civilization which TRump -administration / Secretary Rubio are pining to see flourish again all across the world.
