New Delhi: April 25, 2018. (PCP) Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party today urged Shri Ramnath Kovind, the President of India to impose Governor Rule in J&K without any delay lest the people in J&K loose faith in the sincerity of the Govt. of India which has proved total failure for the reason that the PDP-BJP government is more interested in power and money which is evident from the State government's thoughtless operations in the past year.
NPP Supremo condemned the terrorists for killing one more political activist in Kashmir Valley namely, G.N. Patel in Pulwama on Tuesday whereas two of his security men were injured. The State government has proved total failure and there is urgent need to dissolve the Assembly, dismiss the State government and promulgate Governor Rule till new election to the State Assembly are held with assurances to the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh that J&K shall be reorganized so that the cultural, linguistic, geographical and social identity of all the three regions shall be strengthened and promoted in the new confederation of Kashmir and Jammu provinces. The residents of Ladakh should be allowed to choose their status they enjoyed in 1846 when Treaty of Amritsar was signed between Maharaja Gulab Singh and the East India Company. The National Conference under the leadership of Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah started the movement for the abrogation of Treaty of Amritsar which is the need of the 21st century and that shall satisfy the residents of all the three regions who shall be satisfied after the reorganization of the state.
Prof.Bhim Singh said that India and Pakistan should stop using bullets and bombs instead sit together like brothers as they had been living in peace and harmony before the division of India. He also appealed to India and Pakistan to allow J&K Intra ‘Heart to Heart’ Talk between the residents from both sides of J&K as they had cooperated in holding ‘Heart to Heart’ Talks in 2005 and 2007 in India. Wars, guns, bombs and hateful campaigns are no solution to win peace between two brethren.
