Chandigarh: December 22, 2018. (PCP) A written quiz on the theme ‘Legal Rights of Women in India’ was organised by the Gender Champions’ Club of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh under the aegis of National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi.
The quiz was organized with the objective to spread awareness among the students regarding legal rights of women in India therefore the questions were asked from the Constitution of India and the important laws for the protection and empowerment of women in India.
More than 100 students of the college registered for this competition. Participation of the college students was encouraged by the Principal Dr. Jatinder Kaur.
