Chandigarh: February 7, 2019. Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, Chandigarh, commenced its three-day celebrations of the “College Sthapana Divas” with Akhand Paath on February 7, 2019.
To mark the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a special edition of the college magazine “Gyan Manik” dedicated to the First Guru was released and “Bebe Nanaki Wall of Kindness” was inaugurated by S. Gurdev Singh, President and Col.(Retd.) J.S. Bala, Secretary of the Sikh Education Society, and the Principal, Dr. Jatinder Kaur.
The staff members as well as the students of the college made generous donations of winter clothing for the underprivileged as part of the noble cause of establishing this wall of kindness.
