New Delhi/Srinagar: February 12, 2019. (PCP) “Jammu Pradesh, Kashmir Valley & Ladakh region including Kargil sector have a history of more than 170 years living in regional coordination and co-operation from Monarchy to democratic rule from 1842 till date. The experiment with Monarchy and democracy has brought us to a situation that the three regions namely Ladakh, Kashmir Valley & Jammu Province can grow and survive as three units as confederation. There is an urgent need that representatives of all the three regions should sit together, talk together and work out a confederation so that the three regions shall get the fundamental rights guaranteed the Indian Constitution. So that all the three regions shall get democracy and rule of law and grow as a confederation”. This is an appeal made by Panthers Party Supremo, Prof. Bhim Singh to the residents of all the three regions of the state.

Prof. Bhim Singh appealed to the J&K Governor, Satya Pal Malik to call a meeting of the representatives of all the National & State Recognized political parties working in J&K to hold a Heart to Heart Talk with the representatives of all regions of the state. NPP Supremo urged the Governor to talk to the representatives of each region and remove their doubts, if any.

Prof. Bhim Singh made strong appeal to the leadership and activists of all political parties of Kargil region to realize that Kargil Sector & Leh have 172 years history of living with the residents of Leh and  geographical and social factors have to be taken into  consideration. The residents of both Leh & Kargil have a long history and common geographical situation. Panthers Party is also supporting that Baltistan (POK) should be brought to the folders of Kargil which has been an integral part of Kargil before 1948. This could be done amicably and through public opinion, if possible.

Prof. Bhim Singh reminded all those who are trying to play fire that Jammu & Kashmir acceded to the Union of India through its Maharaja who signed the Instrument of Accession on 26th October, 1947. Entire Gilgit region including Baltistan were grabbed by Pakistan after the Accession of the state was signed by the Maharaja.

Prof. Bhim Singh hoped the leadership of Kargil and Leh shall sit together and work out a possible resolution of minor problems among themselves to ensure that Ladakh sector (Leh & Kargil) joint hands to make Ladakh region a grand partner of Kashmir Valley & Jammu Province, the confederation.
