HUJ demo against Shahadat of Padidan Journalist Ali Sher
Hyderabad: May 10, 2019. (BY Yunis Chandio) Hyderabad Union of Journalists took out a big rally and held protest demonstration in front of press club here against murder of Ali Sher Rajper general secretary of Padidan press club and demanded arrest of his killers.
The rally was led by Khalid Khokhar, senior vice president of Pakistan federal union of journalists, Iqbal Mallah president of HUJ, general secretary Mansoor Mari, joint secretary Jam Farid Lakho, Jay Parkash Moorani, Zafar Hakro and others. Addressing the gathering the speakers said murder of journalist Ali Sher was in fact murder of journalism.
Failure to arrest killers was in fact the inefficiency of Sindh government. They alleged that police was trying to mess up his murder and was openly siding with killers which won’t be tolerated. They said the protest of journalists would continue till arrest of killers.
The protest was attended among others by Irfan Arain,Abbas Kassar, Maqbool Mallah, Aijaz Leghari, Fazil Chana , Irshad Chana, Atiq Mallah, Habib Latifi, Pawan Kumar, Raja Anwer Chandio, Jani Khaskheli, Niaz Vighio, Younis Chandio, Faqir Saleem, Rashid Leghari, Qadir Jamali, Jamil Sanjrani and others.
