New Delhi: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party (India) strongly criticized the US Commission report on the International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) which criticized India’s handling of Covid-19 patients. NPP Supremo described the report as misleading and against spirit and letter of the Constitution of India which assures a democratic-secular Constitution of India. NPP Supremo condemned a media report on the treatment of the Covid-19 patients in a hospital that Gujarat was segregating Coronavirus patients on the basis of their religious identities. He warned the foreign vested interests that they should study India’s culture and its Constitution which is committed to democracy and secularism.

He condemned USCIRF for misleading the media and the International fraternity by alleging that a Hindu-Muslim divide was visible in the treatment of patients in a Government Hospital in Gujarat.

The NPP leader challenged the USCIRF false and misleading statement and added that India is one of the rare countries in the world which has written Constitution with commitment to sovereign, democratic and secular state-India. He demanded that USCIRF should apologize to India for its misleading and communal statement which the people of India reject absolutely.
