Karachi: November 21, 2015. (PCP) Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, Member National Assembly PML(N) has come under attack by alleged PPP hooligans and activists in his consistency Islam Kot on Thursday around 3:00 PM.
Dr. Ramesh claimed that the CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah is the mastermind behind the murder attempt, and Police, instead of lodging FIR of this attack, reportedly registered a FIR against Dr. Ramesh Vankwani on the pressure of CM Sindh.
In a video footage, it is seen clearly how bluntly PPP hooligans under the supervision of Manoj Malani, Shushir Malani, Kuldeep Parvani attacking while the Police, Rangers and other Law enforcement agencies are helpless on the occasion.
Dr. Ramesh, who also heads Pakistan Hindu Council, has demanded to PM Nawaz Sharif to provide him security and take notice. A number of political and social personalities have condemned the murder attempt on provincial and national level, terming the incident as violation of democratic values, and human and minorities’ rights. Dr. Ramesh, mentioning the recent controversial statement by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in which he called Dr. Ramesh as "Rawan", vowed to continue struggle for the rights of poor people across the country, including Thar, and said that PPP is afraid of popularity of PML (N) in Sindh.
