Launch ceremony for Christian books organized by the Christian Leaders Council Adil Ghouri’s book, *Masihi Betiyan Khauf Ki Chadar Mein* (Christian Daughters in the shroud of Fear),
Sialkot: (By Staff Reporter) An event was held to launch several Christian books published by the 'Christian Awareness Movement' under the auspices of the Christian Leaders Council of Pakistan. The titles included *Faith Mystery o, *The Wedding Feast*, *The Educating Pharaoh*, *The Church of the Living God*, *Why Are Pakistani Christians Afraid?*, and *Christian Daughters in the shroud of Fear*.
A large number of political and social figures, journalists, lawyers, and members of the business community attended the event and commended the Christian Awareness Movement’s efforts to disseminate Christian teachings to marginalized areas through literature..Speakers commended the efforts of American authors Teena Meyer and Professor Robert Schmidt in making their books available to Pakistani readers. Dr. Adil Ghouri’s research-based book regarding the forced marriage and religious conversion of Christian girls in Pakistan—titled christian daughters in shroud of Fear)—was a particular focal point of the audience's attention. Prominent figures who addressed the event included Dr. Adil Ghouri, Dr. Tahreem Adil, Pastor Babar Emmanuel, Dr. Andrias Rattan Lal, Pastor Fakhar Javed, Pastor Dilshad Manzoor, Pastor Aqeel Javed, Sohail Ansari, Pastor Mark Henry, and others. At the conclusion of the event, all participants were presented with books as gifts.
On this occasion, Dr. Adil Ghouri informed the pastors that the distribution of books free of charge is underway across various churches, and he is seeking their assistance to ensure the books reach as many people as possible.
