HYDERABAD: July 1, 2016. (Abbas Kassar) The decision of Federal government to extend stay of Afghans in Pakistan is open hostility with Sindh. At present there are more than 4 million Afghanis only in Sindh due to which the peace of province is at risk. This was stated by Sindh National Tehrik Chairman Ashraf Noonari in a statement issued here on Friday. He said illegal immigrants settled in Sindh after 1954 be expelled. He said in a conspiracy Sindh is being converted in international orphanage. He said Pakistan is rated at number 2 in providing haven to refugees in world and Sindh as number one. He said there were more than 9 million illegal immigrants in Sindh including Burmese, Bengalis, Beharis and 4 million Afghanis who are having control on resources of Sindh. He said due to heavy influx of illegal immigrants Sindh’s were not only deprived of their resources but converting in minority. In such situation decision to extend stay of Afghans was based on Sindh enmity which we condemn, he added. He said if federal government has so much sympathy with Afghan refugees they should be settled in Punjab. He also demanded from Sindh government to put pressure on federal government to expel illegal immigrants from Sindh otherwise SNT would launch “expel aliens save Sindh” movement after Eidul Fitr.
