HYDERABAD: March 1, 2017. (By Abbas Kassar) A 2 years old child Altaf died of torture of landlord on his mother peasant woman in village Anwar Rasti near Sinjhoro district Sanghar. District and sessions judge Sanghar has taken notice of the incident and asked SSP for report after inquiry. According to details peasant woman Jamila Solangi was working on agriculture farm of landlord Ashraf Mari. On screaming of her child, she rushed to take him in her lap and started to breastfeed him. On a sudden landlord arrived there and asked her why she was not working in field. She told him that she would continue work after breastfeeding her child who was crying of hunger. This infuriated landlord who went out of senses and started to torture her with fists and kicks. Child in her lap being hit by kicks died instantly. Taking dead body of their child, family approached district and sessions judge Sanghar Mir Safdar Hussain Talpur who took notice of the incident on application of Umed Ali Solangi, father of child and ordered SSP Sanghar for inquiry and legal action in the case. SSP Farakh Lanjar told that post mortem of child has been carried out from civil hospital and body handed to family. He said police was probing the matter from all sides.
