Introduction of IT mechanism to improve Human Rights situation discussed by MoHR

Islamabad: May 3, 2017. (PCP) Federal Minister for Human Rights Senator Kamran Michael has said that all out efforts are being made to improve the human rights situation throughout the country. In this regard, he said, comprehensive IT mechanism (application) will be introduced soon to redress the grievances and human rights violations. He was chairing a meeting to develop IT mechanism regarding reporting and addressing Human Rights Violations here in Islamabad on Wednesday. Besides, Secretary Ministry of Human Rights, Ms. Rabia Javeri Agha, heads of all the departments and other relevant officials of the ministry were also among the attendants. Minister was briefed about the designing and developing IT mechanism for reporting and addressing human rights violations. It was also told that ministry is working the comprehensive IT mechanism and an application to redress human rights violations will be launched soon. Addressing the meeting Minister said that well coordinated efforts are needed to address the human rights violations. He directed that all concerned officials of the ministry to be vigilant to rectify the untoward incident. Minister appreciated the commitment of the concerned officers and their efforts to improve the situation of the human rights.
