Sindhi Sangat Sindh distributes Eid Clothes among poor familes

Hyderabad: August 29, 2017. (PCP) Sindhi Sangat Sindh and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh distributed Eid clothes and Eid gifts among poor and needy families in district Badin, Tando Muhammad Khan and other different towns and villages of Sindh, Pakistan. More than 75 percent population of Sindh live below the poverty line, due to rising poverty and unemployment people of Sindh committing suicides, government failed to eradicate poverty from Sindh. Sindh is the largest gas producing province of Pakistan and contributes more than 70 percent gas of total production in the country but unfortunately more than 75 percent population of Sindh compelled to live under the line of poverty. Leaders of Sindhi Sangat Sindh and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh Ahmed Baloch, Shehmer Qambrani, Farzana Shah, Rizwana Memon, Hina Sindhi and others have said more than 75 percent population of Sindh live below the poverty line, due to rising poverty and unemployment people of Sindh committing suicides, government failed to eradicate poverty from Sindh. Sindhi Sangat Sindh believes that we should help poor and needy people around us as this is our national and social responsibility. They expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held by Sindhi Sangat Sindh in district Badin and Tando Muhammad Khan to distribute Eid clothes and Eid gifts among poor and needy families. Speaking on the occasion, the Sindhi Sangat Sindh and Sindhi Nari Sangat Sindh leaders said that Sindh being the richest province in terms of natural resources is in contradiction with the poverty, unemployment, shortage of CNG, load shedding of gas, and dearth of petroleum that it faces. Sindh is the largest gas producing province of Pakistan, which contributes more than 70 percent gas of total production in the country but unfortunately more than 75 percent population of Sindh compelled to live under the line of poverty, over the past few years the numbers of suicide has increased due to poverty in Sindh, Pakistan. Leaders of Sindhi Sangat Sindh further said that international organizations should pay more attention to rural Sindh because more than 75% of the population in rural areas of Sindh is now living in abject poverty. Sindhi Sangat Sindh demands government must take immediate actions to eradicate poverty and unemployment from Sindh. While villagers and participants applauds efforts of Sindhi Sangat Sindh for distributing Eid clothes and gifts among poor and needy families.
