HYDERABAD: December 12, 2017. (Abbas Kassar) Sindh Minority wing of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf has expressed concern that though Sindh assembly has passed a legislation against forced conversion of minority girls but same has not been implemented since long.
Addressing news conference here Tuesday PTI Minority wing Sindh president Jai Parkash Ukrani, senior vice president Deewan Mahesh Kumar,general secretary Nrendar Rajani, joint secretary Bhagwandas Bheel,Sarwan Kumar and others said PTI wsas only political party in Pakistan which has same vision about minorities as that of Quaide Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with no discrimination on basis of religion and that every citizen was freedom of religious faith.
They said they applauded Imran Khan attending Hindu festival Deewali at Karachi while Shah Mahmood Qureshi also attended Deewali at Umerkot. They said Imran Khan had spoken openly against forced conversion of minority girls. It was first time that any political leader has said that Islam does not allow it.
They said when PTI will form government party would implement the law against forced conversion passed by Sindh assembly. They demanded rulers take this issue seriously and government jobs for minorities as per 5 percent quota and also scholarship to minority students.
