LARKANA: May 12, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khuhro will inaugurate free medical camp for the rehabilitation of orthopedic (artificial parts provision) at Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana from May 15, 16 and 17th 2009. The medical camp for the rehabilitation of legs, hands, arms and other special parts will be arranged and organized by the coordination with Speaker Sindh Assembly and renowned specialists and experts in the orthopedic surgery from Karachi. On the occasion, experts will check up the handicapped orthopedic patients and they will be provided artificial legs, arms, hands, so that they could walk and move like wise normal human beings told Medical Superintendent Syed Mehboob Ali Shah. – Sindh Employees United Grand Alliance district Larkana Chapter took out protest rally against the termination of employees and their basic rights. A large number of employees from various departments were holding play cards, banners, inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands, chanted the slogans against government. The rally started from Deeni Maddarsah School, marching through various roads and culminated at Larkana Press Club. On the occasion the leaders including Liaqat Ali Dedar, Peeral Dayo, Manzoor Aheer, Sabir Soomro, Syed Raza Ali Shah, Anwer Bhutto, Nasrullah Abro, Farooq Jalbani and others addressed and said that government is neglecting the rights of poor employees, they are compelled to face starvation and inflation. They expressed their deep concern over the settlement of outsider in Sindh, which is big conspiracy against the sons of soil to convert them into minority and controlling the revenue and resources of Sindh. SEUGA leaders demanded of government to approve fifty percent quota for the heirs of deceased and retired employees, provide corporation allowance remaining employees, regularize all the contract employees and reinstate sacked Thatta Cement factory employees and other departments, otherwise SEUGA would enlarge protest.
