Martyred Pak Army soldier laid to rest

LARKANA: June 14, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) The body of martyred Pakistan Army Hawaldar (HC) Syed Zamir Hussain, who was martyred in Sawat operation four days before was brought here in Larkana from Karachi for the funeral prayers on Saturday. The Funeral prayers of martyred Pakistan Army Hawaldar (HC) Syed Zamir Hussain was held at his ancestral village, which was attended by the Brigadier Jamil Ahmed, Col. Habib Abbasi, District Coordination Officer Larkana M. Jaffer Abbasi, Major Ahmed Mukhtiar and his close associates, notables and other relatives. On the occasion, Martyred Syed Zamir was buried at his ancestral grave yard with military honour and saluted with gun shots. The flowers sent by the President Asif Ali Zardari, Army Chief Ashfaq Pervez Kiani were led on the grave of martyer by the Army officers and DCO Larkana on behalf. Brigadier Jamil Ahmed, Col. Habib Abbasi, Distric Coordination Officer Larkana M. Jaffer Abbasi, Major Ahmed Mukhtiar and others offered Fateha for the departed soul, while martyred left behind widow and a eleven month baby along with four brothers and parents. He had joined the Pakistan Army 12 years ago as a soldier.
