Muslim gunmen supported by Punjab government politician attack and demolish home of Christian

Lahore: July 23, 2009. (PCP repot) The Shora Kothi, name of residence of Christian families, situated in posh and most expensive area of Lahore Gulberg II was target of Muslim land mafia from years who wanted to built apartment complex on this location. Last week about 150 Muslim armed with guns attacked Christian residents of Shora Kothi, 47 Gulberg II, Lahore in broad day light and demolished the Bungalow. The armed men looted money, valuables and jewelry from Christian occupants and then damaged furniture and other household. After looting they demolished structure of Bungalow and servant quarters and pushed men, women and children on gunpoint out of their property. When Christians approached police station to lodge report against land mafia illegal enforced possession of their property, police denied to register any FIR. The Christian families went for justice to their Punjab government Christian Minority Minister who also denied to intervene and said “ Chief Minister Punjab is at back of those Muslims, so, he can not do any help to them” The Christians are trying to contact Federal Minister for Minorities for help but failed to establish contact. They e-Mailed to Inspector General Police Punjab IG but still Muslims gunmen are sitting on their land to establish their occupation without any action against them. There are increasing number of incident to “Tax” Christian businessmen by Muslims and snatch their savings. The Muslim land mafia is also targeting valuable Christian properties in Lahore, Karachi and other major cities of Pakistan. The details story will be published about this incident.
