“Life For All” announces to observe “Black Day” on August 11, in Pakistan

Lahore: July 29, 2009. (PCP) The Christian leaders of “Life for All” welcomed release of Joseph Francis and declared him an asset of Pakistani Christian here today in a press conference on July 28, 2009. Mr. Rizwan Paul, President of Life For All said that we appreciate efforts of Christian leaders who worked and dialogued day and night for release of Mr. Joseph Francis. Mr. Paul also praised the services rendered by Joseph Francis from 20 years for uplift and Christians and to ensure justice for persecuted Christians. A delegation of Life for All also visited Mr. Joseph Francis when he was sent to judicial custody after cancellation of his bail from Lahore High Court on July 12, 2009. Mr. Rizwan Paul also announced to join other groups in Lahore and Islamabad to observe “Black Day” on July 11, 2009. The “Life for All” leaders also condemned attack on Mr. William, Coordinator of Islamabad PCC in Rawalpindi and demanded actions culprits. Mr. Rizwan Paul, President of Christian human right organization based in Lahore, named “Life For All” was addressing press conference along with Mr. Kashif Mazhar, General Secretary, Amer Anwar and other directors to express solidarity with other groups to observe “Black Day” on August 11, 2009. The President, Mr. Rizwan Paul stressed the dire need of Unity amount the Christian Community, he briefed about the renovation and expansion of the orphanage and the school for the Christian Children so that they can be educated and become a productive citizens. Currently there are 75 Children at the orphanage and around 500 Children at the School, who are getting free education. The General Sectary, Mr. Kashif Mazhar also made an appeal for donations for the construction of the Church at Pind Dadan Khan as the foundation stone has been laid and the boundary wall is being made. The proper construction work is starting from 30th July 2009, he requested people to donate generously for this cause as the people of Pind Dadan Khan will not be able to construct the Church on their own. The Coordinator Mr. Amer Anwer gave the details of the Church construction work being done at Youhanabad, Lahore.
