Lahore: October 9, 2009. (PCP) It was the fourth anniversary of Pakistan Earth Quake on 8th October, 2009. Along with many people Zubaida Gull was the one who fasted and did the Quran-Khani (reciting the Holy Quran). While talking to the newsmen she said that she and three of her school friends dedicated their fast and the Quran-Khani to three Americans. The Americans who were passionate to us in the hard times and difficulties. The time when we lost our homes and loved ones. These great Americans were: Mrs. Polly Guild; Ms. Olivia Holmes and Mr. John B. Lyons who shared their passion and support to us on humanitarian basis. They never proselytized us but rather use “Allah” instead of God. Their unconditional compassion and care is like a mustered seed which has now continuously expending in our hearts and will continue to our generations ahead. And before leaving her friends and she raised up their hands up to Allah for the worldly and spiritual gain and growth of their American benefactors.
