Doctors to play role to serve ailing humanity: Speaker Sindh Assembly

LARKANA: November 1, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmad Khuhro has said that the doctors can play their important role to serve the ailing humanity and ensure the quality of treatment of the common poor patients. This he said while addressing Pakistan Aspirin Foundation national Conference here at Shaheed Muhatarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College and University Larkana. Nisar Khuhro said the dream of Benazir Bhutto was to upgrade the CMC College to University and she was always giving priority to the health and education sector and for better facilities may be provided to poor people at their door step. He said there is need to provide healthcare and sincerity with profession, as the Doctors can play their important role in society. Vice Chancellor SMBBU Professor Sikander Ali Shaikh also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the benefits for establishing the University for the people of upper Sindh and Balochistan areas. He said the objectives of the Universities to research on different disease and further development will be carried out in the benefit of patients he said. The conference was also addressed by the Prof. Saeed Ahmed Sangi, Prof. Assadullah Mahar, Prof. Zafar Ali Pirzado, Dr. Shaukat Ali Javed, Dr. Maqbool H Jaffri, Munwer Ali Abbasi and others. The conference was largely attended by the professors and Paramedical staff in the conference in the scientific session. Later the Speaker Assembly visited the Musical Program at Nizamani Labour Hall, Arts Council of Pakistan Larkana, which was organized by the department of Youth Affairs government of Sindh and District Government of Sindh.
