Inderias Bhatti nominated as President of Lahore City Pakistan Christian Congress Council

Karachi: November 29, 2009. (PCP) According to press note issued by Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Central Council here today Mr. Inderias Bhatti, a prominent human right activist in Pakistan have been nominated as President of Lahore Metropolitan PCC Council. Mr. Inderias Bhatti will also hold additional offices of Kasur district and Raiwind as PCC Organizer and shall recommend the PCC Councils in respective districts and vicinities. Mr. Inderias will finalize program for PCC Annual Convention in Punjab in 2010. His recommendations in holding of Annual Convention in 2010 shall be presented in June 2010, in Annual Central Council meeting with organizing committee of Convention. Mr. Inderias Bhatti shall also nominate Lahore City, Kasur district and Raiwind PCC Councils officials till February 2010 Dr. Nazir S Bhatti congratulated Mr. Inderias Bhatti on joining Pakistan Christian Congress PCC and said that PCC will be more strong in Punjab now as Christians representative political party. Nazir Bhatti urged Christian Social and Political leaders in Punjab to quit such Christian groups which are being led by leaders or Members of National or Provincial Assembly on intimation of Muslim political parties in Pakistan. Nazir Bhatti said “Christian groups with Punjab government or Federal government have fail to present any draft resolution or legislation to repeal blasphemy law and sincere Christians must leave these groups and join Pakistan Christian Congress’ “PCC will never bargain on principals and will keep struggling to repeal blasphemy law which is root cause of violence against Christians”
