Sindhi nationalists demand provincial autonomy

Larkana: December 9, 2009. (Nazir Siyal reports for PCP) Nationalist parties including Sindh United Party (SUP), Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP), Sindh National Front (SNF), Awami Tehreek and Save Sindh observed the Sindh Day on Wednesday throughout and took out a huge rally for the objectives of provincial autonomy, Sindh resources, law and order situation, poverty V/S employment in Sindh and other rights of Sindh here in Larkana. A joint mammoth rally led by local leaders of STPP led by Khair Mohammed Magsi, Manzoor Qureshi, SUP led by central leader Asghar Shah, Mehmood Bhutto, Amber Mughal, SNF led by Ibrahim Shah and other nationalists started from Zulfikar Bagh via Bank squire, bunder road, Pakistani Chowke and culminated at Jinnah Bagh at Press Club. The rally celeberated the day and chanted slogans of Sindh rights, they also demanded provincial autonomy, rights on rosources, employment to Sindhis, elimination of poverty in Sindh, settlement of outsiders (IDPs) and several other atrocities. The nationalists said that they will continue their struggle for the provincial autonomy and objectives of Sindh rights and its resources to the local Sindhi people.
