Holland: January 29, 2010. (PCP) Parvez Iqbal, President Pakistan Christian Congress Holland Chapter has strongly condemned both another terrible incident against innocent and poor Christian family of Gujranwala in Pakistan as well as irresponsible and shameful behavior of local police officials of area police station. News of setting house in Fire of Walayat Masih on January 26, 2010 immediately spread like a wild fire all over in Media and in Christian Community, that on refusal of selling house to Muslim business men, Kamboo Brothers, along with group of rented Ghundas not only attacked and insulted Walayat Masih and His family but also after giving them life threats they set their house on fire and fire immedaitly burnt all his house holds. Again Fire Fighting Department failed to reach on scene in time as usual. Walayat Masih tried to ask help from the Local Police, but despite helping him, Police supported Kamboo Brothers and threatened Walayat Masih and his sons for strict legal actions in case they try to ask for legal help. We is justice and through whom Walayat Masih will get justice???? As our immediate demand we ask Federal Government and Government of Punjab to please wakeup and take initiatives for an inquiry of High Level authorities minimum through one Judge of High court and also issue strict orders for taking legal action and arrest of Kamboo Brothers as well suspension and departmental actions against Police officials of the relevant police station showed corrupted behavior in this incident. An immediate compensation of reasonable amount be granted to the victim's family to re-start and re-building of their house and also their safe and sound life protection.
