Philadelphia, USA: February 3, 2010: Idress Massey passed away here today after fatal stroke; Mr. Massey was very popular among Christian social, religious and political circles.
Mr. Idress Massey was raised in Essa Nagri, Karachi and graduated from a local college. He settled in Queens, New York city and helped dozens of Christian families’ rehabilitation in 1990,s. He bought a property in Philadelphia city of Pennsylvania state and moved here in 2005. Mr. Massey have left behind two sons and widow.
Pakistan Christian Association in America PCA have expressed grief on sudden death of Mr. Idress Massey. New York based association of Pakistani Christians PCA had privileged to keep Mr. Massey on Board of Directors more than a decade.
PCA leaders, Mr. William Shahzad, Nazir S Bhatti, Babar Khokhar, Arshad Bhatti, James Gill and Mr. Wilson have condoled with the family of Idress Massey.
Mr. George Murad, Chief Organizer of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC International Wing visited the grieved family and paid his condolence to widow and sons of Idress Massey.
The funeral services of Idress Massey shall be performed in Pakistani Presbyterian Church Philadelphia led by Pastor Rev. Shahbaz Khan.
Mr. Idress Massey was among Elders of Pakistani Presbyterian Church and served congregation for years.
Christian leaders of Philadelphia, Rasheed Choudry, Yaqoob Rehmat, Maqsood-ul-Haq, Younas Bhatti and Joseph have also condoled death of Idress Massey.
